set a safe nurse-to-patient ratio.

Created by M.H. on October 13, 2015

In today's healthcare, over 3 million nurses work long hours to provide the utmost care to many patients. Unfortunately, there is not a law that mandates how many patients a nurse can take care of. Because of inadequate staffing of nurses, patients' safety is put at risk due to lack of consideration for the complexity of their care. Mandating the nurse-to-patient ratio would help lower additional healthcare costs and ensure the delivery of safe, quality care.
