We the people belive that our congress needs strict term limitations. We have determined that, due to the fact that an official will likely vote on issues to gain popularity to stay in office and to promote their political party, they do not do what needs to be done for the people of this country. We recognize that if a member of congress only has one term, more focus will be put on what is right, not what is best to keep oneself in office. We propose that the congress only be allowed to serve one 3-year term.
