Members of congress have become completely out of touch and are no longer working for the American people. Instead of doing everything they can to get this country back on track, they make deals with big business and the wealthy that make them rich while the economy and people of this country suffer. It is time to set term limits for all members of congress and get rid of the career politician, as well as tie their salaries and benefits to the national average. We need representatives that know what the American people are going through and will act in our best interest. By setting term limits and limiting pay, these positions will attract people with new ideas who truly want to make this country better for all.
