Running a successful political campaign in this day and age is very expensive. Those seeking re-election spend a large portion of the time they are in office gathering funds for the next election. The policies they vote for are greatly effected by the pressing need for campaign funds. Limiting all members of the House of Representatives and the Senate to 2 terms would allow those in their second term to better focus on the issues that trouble our nation with out having to spend valuable time and votes on pleasing wealthy donors.
