Set term limits on the Congressional Branch of the Government

Created by R.D. on May 19, 2013

If the Office of the President can be limited to 2 terms, then the same thing must be done to the Congressional Branch of the Government. Senators only get to serve for 12 years and Representatives serve 12 years. That is 2 terms for the Senate and 6 terms for the House, this is a way to guarantee that Government can move forward and limit the reach of the lobbyist and other groups that have imbedded members of Congress that vote for their backers instead of their constituents and helps keep America in the hands of its people instead of its corporations.
