To set Term Limits on elected officials and the Supreme Court

Created by R.B. on August 13, 2013

Sept 17th, 1787..
41 delegates, gathered at Philadelphia’s Pennsylvania State House for the Constitutional Convention.Their goal, to form a Government. One where every citizen has the same rights no matter what their social station may be.They had to ensure that the Government could not infringe on those rights. They took pains to place safeguards against the Government for the people. One of those safeguards was our elected representatives. They understood that the people needed someone to represent them in Government. They created the Senate and House of Representatives. They would be elected officials. I believe the founding fathers never meant elected officials to serve a lifetime in office. Please sign my petition limiting elected officials to a set number of years.
