We the undersigned, call for term limits for all elected political positions, from local government to all state and federal government positions. There can be no real progress if the same elected officials are in office too long.
As history, and present day, shows, politicians allow themselves to become too emotionally involved with campaigns and bills. This needs to stop before the American people no longer have any Constitutional Rights. We do not need to be saved from ourselves. We're more than capable of making our own decisions.
In addition, there needs to be an "approval" election, dictating a person's worthiness in the elected position, within the second semester of their election. Approval rating must be higher than 76% or the position is given to the 1st runner-up
