Set term limits for the House, the Senate and Congress

Created by E.E. on September 04, 2012

The Executive branch has a two term limit to ensure that the President is representing the people of today and to prevent long term abuse of power.

It is time that the House of Representatives, the Senate, and Congress also have two term-limits of two years each. We do not want the same people running our country for decades.

In order to prevent gridlock and long-term power struggles in Washington limits on how many terms a person can serve should be put into place. Currently representatives spend more time worrying about their job and their base instead of worrying about the people they represent.

Imposing these strict term-limits would keep corruption and political games to a minimum and keep our representatives focused on policy instead of politics.
