Set term limits for members of U.S Congress.

Created by J.A. on February 01, 2014

It's time for members of Congress to start working for the people of this nation. For far too long lobbyist and special interest groups have influenced Congress so much that they have lost touch representing the American citizen. Instead of working for us, they worry about re-election and the fear of losing all of the perks that come with the job. In 2010 their pay was greater than $170K, worked on Capitol Hill an average of 3.5 days, and received more than $40K for home/office furnishings. Lets make a change.
No person shall be elected to Congress more than twice. Each term will not exceed a day past 5 years. They can be re-elected for a second term of 5 years and they will have to step down at the end of their term.

We want members of Congress. Not owners of Congress.
