I petition the White House to introduce Bill or Bills which would limit the terms of newly elected Congressman/Senators. I feel that being able to serve for a large length of time severely hampers the US Government functionality. Limiting the number of terms that a newly elected Senator/Congressman can serve would A) allow for newer and fresher ideas to come forward B) younger elected officials which better represent the ideals/goals of the current generation C) limit the influence that special influence groups hold D) allow congressman/senator to focus on issues rather than re-lection compaigns (if in their last term)
