I belong to a large group of people who are not officially organized, but can be identified by the disgust that we feel for the conduct of the people currently holding elected office and acting on our behalf.
This petition would seek to limit all elected officials in the U.S. Government to two terms. They would start thinking about what is best for the citizenry of this country, because they would become part of that citizenry after their terms expire. They would no longer have a lifetime job and would only be entitled to retirement benefits that would be on par with most of the people they represent.
They would be entitled to the same insurance/retirement policies that unelected government workers are entitled to.
