To set uniform and equitable federal voting standards and regulations with the goal of increasing voter participation.

Created by R.L. on November 16, 2012

The long voting lines and the various attempts to suppress the vote in the 2012 Federal Election were a disgrace. No matter where one lives, voters should have the same opportunity to exercise their right to vote. The country needs uniform and equitable standards and regulations for all federal elections.

In his speech on election night, President Obama, referring to the long lines and the hours voters had to stand in line, said: "We need to fix that." It's time to fix the current dysfunctional system.
