Political office was never supposed to be a career. We have people in both the House and Senate who have held the same position for more than 20 years. They are getting voted in based on name recognition and bloating are budget with useless pork to advance their own agenda. By allowing these individuals to run continuously we have instituted our own version of the British House of Lords. There needs to be a three term limit on the House of Representatives and two term limit on the Senate. There should never be the chance to die in office due to OLD AGE like Strum Thurmond or Robert Byrd.
