Money spent on campaigns is out of control. I believe the current spending has caused citizens to no longer read or discover what the candidates or issues are about, instead, they rely solely on the negative propaganda spread through campaign ads. When you go ask the average person why they like a particular candidate or support some issue, 80% of the time they have no factual basis. So that person may in fact be voting for something that harms their interests.
On a side note, how can a democratic liberal(who's for the less fortunate) justify the large spending on tv and paper ads(not to mention the deforestation) when there are Citizens of America out there starving. That is not very liberal at all.
That doesn't give conservatives the right either.
