Severely limit foreign aid to Israel until all settlement activities in the occupied territories are ceased.

Created by T.S. on March 02, 2014

Although ideas vary on the situation between Palestine and Israel, a consensus has been reached with the International community about Israeli settlements. The Israeli government sponsors large scale projects to settle areas along the border of the west bank territory, as well as large highways connecting them. Palestinians are not allowed within hundreds of meters of these areas. These settlements have been deemed illegal by UN resolution 446. The United States provides about 8 million dollars of foreign aid a day to Israel. This aid should not be given to a country that does not comply with international law. Before the solution for the Israel-Palestine conflict can be reached, these settlements must be stopped. The US has the ability to play a key part in the solution, and should be.
