The current sex offender registry and laws are unfair. Registered offenders are forced to register for life, with no ability to get thier names removed from the registry over time or for good behavior. Many that are made to register comitted non-violent crimes or commited crimes when they themselves were juveniles. They are forced to obey the current harsh, descriminating laws for the rest of their natural lives that prevent them, and their families, from living a normal life. This forces them to the edge of socieity, bans them from public places, and often leads them to a life filled with fear and hopessness. All offenders, over time and good behavior, should be able to be removed from the registry in a timely manner and have all rights restored as to where they can live, work and visit.
