Shape the future by taking large and meaningful steps to slow and prepare for climate change. Re-sign the Kyoto Protocol

Created by J.M. on July 16, 2013

Conservative estimates predict a 2 degree celsius temperature increase this century. This will have a devastating impact on our quality of life, our ability to feed our growing population, the economy and weather patterns. We are clearly seeing the start of the weather changes now. We urge this administration to make large, meaningful changes to help slow climate change and to prepare for the impact on our way of life. Re-signing the Kyoto Protocol would be a significant step in the right direction. The potential damage signing the Kyoto Protocol may have on our economy will seem trivial when compared to the cost of lack of meaningful action now. Change is going to happen whether we like it or not. We should lead not follow, anticipate not react, celebrate our foresight in hindsight.
