shed tears for the children in Pakistan killed by American drones, just as he shed tears for the children of Sandy Hook.

As George Monbiot of The Guardian reports, Pres. Obama was visibly moved to tears over the achingly sad murder of 20 children in CT, saying to the nation, "Mere words cannot match the depths of your sorrow, nor can they heal your wounded hearts…These tragedies must end. And to end them, we must change." Yet as Commander-in-Chief, he has overseen the growth of an inhuman drone program that has killed dozens of children. Instead of eliciting visible, tearful, fatherly empathy from the president, the family destruction wrought by drone strikes has drawn little official mention, while drone operators refer to civilian deaths as "bug splats." Is this not the culture of violence that "we must change?" http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2012/dec/17/us-killings-tragedie...
