Shorten the amount of signatures required for petition recognition

Created by M.B. on March 22, 2013

100,000 signatures is simply too much to ask for when it comes to these petitions. Perhaps a few issues can gain that type of attention in a month, but that is rare. There are many ideas that deserve to be heard that will never garner that type of attention.
We ask that the number of signatures required is reduced to 50,000, in order to maintain a decent number of signatures while not being unreasonable.
