Political campaigns are too long while wasting a tremendous amount of money and allowing much more time than is needed for politicians to present their platform. Most of this extra time is spent simply repeating campaign speeches and slinging mud so is totally unproductive. Campaign seasons should be shorten to be no longer that 3 months. This works well in Canada and England and should also work here in the USA.
