Shorten the school/work week to four days

Created by A.A. on May 09, 2015

The United States Declaration of Independence gives three examples of the "inalienable rights" which have been given to all human beings by their Creator, and for which governments are created to protect. One of these is the pursuit of happiness. I recently calculated that on any given school day, I only have four hours and fifty minutes of personal time (not including that used for homework)! I am therefore petitioning the White House to reduce the school/work week from five days to four days (thru Thurs.), giving the American people more time to spend with their families and friends and learning about life outside of the classroom. I am making the government aware of my desire because we live in a democracy which means that the government is "for the people".... let's see if that's true!
