Green card holders should have the same privileges as US Citizen on the petition for their immediate relatives/family, such as shorter waiting period for visa number, simpler procedures and a temporary visa. Under the current immigration laws, they are being treated unfairly and are being forced to separate from their family for a very long period of times before they can be together again.
As the matter of fact, they are even treated worse than those H1-B Temporary Working Permit Holders whose can petition their immediate relatives to stay with them, in less than the Green card holders' waiting time, using a special visa.
