Our founding fathers never intended for the Congress of the United States to be filled with career politicians who's votes would be swayed by opinion polls or lobbyists. We need to enact term four year term limits on Congress with a limit of two terms in office the same as the President, and done in such a was as every two years half of Congress is up for election. This is the only way we can get past politics and do what is right for the country instead of what is right for re-election.
We ask that this issue be put on the 2012 ballet for the American people to decide and not left to Congress to act on as they will not pass it.
We the People should have the choice.
