Our country has plenty of Natural Gas, and we have plenty of it. In some states, they burn up to 25% of the natural gas since they are more interested in the oil and little incentive to capture the gas. That alone shouldn't happen, to allow it to be burned like it is nothing.
Some cities like Columbus, Ohio changed their whole fleet to natural gas. It is fairly easy to change and the costs of energy are low. Even Apple's new head quarters under development would generate their electricity from Natural gas.
It is cleaner than typical fuels like typical gas, but this is a good step to take.
