This is a petition designed to make it illegal for teachers to promote or involve their students in the classroom or online in political activities related to teacher union disputes.
Take the occupy wal lstreet protest for example, the teacher unions have shown open support for this group and they have even in some cases offered extra credit for attending this rally, now im not a parent, teacher or what have you, but when i have a child and decide to send them to public school i want to know that they will be there to learn and not be used as someone political pawn, that's not what i pay taxes for, so please sign this petition to make it a crime for teachers to promote, and involve their students in teacher union matters or other political activities.
