should re-introduce and enact the Moment of Quiet Reflection in Schools Act.

Created by L.F. on October 10, 2011

"A MOMENT OF QUIET REFLECTION"

In today's hectic society, with so much uneasiness in the world, few of the country's citizens, especially our young people, are able to experience a moment of quiet reflection before plunging headlong into the day's activities. This moment of reflection will give our students the opportunity to have a calming break from an otherwise busy and stressful school day.

Considering the many crises in the world today, namely: homeland security, unemployment, terrorism, wars, disease, and dangerous dictators, we are in need of this legislation more than ever.

In 2003, this bill never made it out of the Education Committee. The Obama Administration should re-introduce and enact the Moment of Quiet Reflection in Schools Act.
