Should reduce the deficit by cuts to Congress and the Senate in both pay and especially benefits.

I propose that in addition to federal employees having taken on a pay freeze Congress and the Senate do thier part in deficit reduction and freeze thier own pay. In addition to that thier benefits alone for only serving one term is costing taxpayers billions of dollars for thier lifetime benefits. They should have the same benefits as all other federal employees. These cuts should save the american taxpayers billons of dollars.
