should repel the unfair SB1070 immigration act in Arizona, as well as the recent immigration act passed in Alabama.

Created by R.H. on December 08, 2011

On April 23, 2010, Arizona Governor Jan Brewer passed the unfair SB1070 Act, also known as the Support Our Law Enforcement and Safe Neighborhoods Act.

This law requires all aliens over the age of 14 in the U.S. for more than 30 days to register with the U.S. government, and to have registration documents with them at all times It also makes it illegal for an alien to be in Arizona without carrying the required documents, and requires that state law enforcement officers attempt to determine an individual's immigration status during a "lawful stop, detention or arrest" when there is reasonable suspicion that the individual is an illegal immigrant.

A similar act was recently passed in the state of Alabama as well.

This encourages racial profiling, and is unfair to legal minorities.
