Should Seriously consider the following issues and do a think tank with SMART people in attendance including retailers

As gasoline prices started rising to $4.00 a gallon, families with 2 cars going in different directions to work were overwhelmed with high gasoline bills per month.
Already topping that off was the high mortgages they had on their houses that mortgage companies buttered up so they could purchase the house. A combination of that and in some instances maxed out credit cards made matters worse.
As gasoline prices rose month after month, the trucking industry had to raise their freight charges to wholesalers and retailers to cover the cost of transporting the goods. As it progressed, the wholesalers and retailers raised their prices to the consumers.
