Show America Genuine Fiscal Responsibility by Cancelling Plans for the Usual High-cost Inauguration Ceremony in January

With the critical need to find ways of cutting costs of government to taxpayers, and the need to bring our country together, President Obama could earn huge respect from all Americans by announcing that he is cancelling the usual inauguration 'event.' I understand that cost of security alone at the last inauguration was the highest ever. The President could show tremendous leadership and self-sacrifice by this, as well as allowing him to include the multi-million dollar savings from this event in his negotiations with Congress on diverting the fiscal cliff.
