show our disabled veterans that the Commander in Chief cares

President Obama needs to attend the dedication of the Monument. As a disabled Veteran I am disappointing that President Obama has chosen not to attend the dedication of the Disabled for Life Monument. At a time when the VA has shown little compassion or mercy for our Nations Veterans, the President needs to show his dedication to those that have served our Country. Our Presidents have sent our soldiers into wars in the name of National Security, those wars have left its mark across our Nation. In almost every city and town across the nation our Wounded Warriors and their families face a lifetime of pain and challenges that many cannot understand. The fact that no public funds were used to complete this monument is a tribute to how much the Nation values Veterans. We need his support also.
