This act will help protect dogs in puppy mills, to provide them with a better quality of life.
This is the third time this act has been introduced. I'm asking the Obama Administration to back up and show support for this bill, and if it's not passed, to make sure another similar bill is put through.
Puppy mills are dog breeding operations where profit is put before the dogs' well-being (ASPCA). Type "puppy mills" into Google images to see how bad puppy mills are. I volunteer at a dog shelter and have personally seen dogs that were rescued from puppy mills. Medical wise they are in terrible shape. One of our last two dogs that came from a puppy mill can barely walk. Please, support this bill to help these much abused yet still loving dogs.
