For years, humans have abused, neglected, and murdered animals for no good reason other than "animals can't communicate with us and have fur" and "we need food."
No animal deserves the treatment they get in slaughterhouses. No animal deserves to be murdered for human satisfaction. There are many alternatives for meat and protein, such as "fake" meat, nuts, shakes, etc., so what good excuse do humans have for killing animals? Domestic animals have more rights than farm animals, when there is no difference between them.
Animals have families, feelings, and voices, too. Just because we can't understand them, doesn't mean we have the right to murder them. Why is it so right to kill a helpless animal, and so wrong to kill a human, when the only difference is the amount of hair on their backs?
