The Better Business Bureau is supposed to be a non-profit organization. However, the Better Business Bureau makes a profit by threatening loyal businesses with bad grades if the owners did not become members and pay membership fees. Furthermore, they allow corrupt businesses to get A-grades by letting them become members and receive their membership fees. This process takes away business and marketplace trust. The Better Business Bureau's slogan is "start with trust," but the non-profit tarnishes the very meaning of the slogan. The Better Business Bureau ruins the reputation of honest hard-working businesses with intimidation and unfair advantages. They should be replaced by the Small Business Administration and BusinessUSA. Thank you.
