The BRONX DEFENDERS are a public defender organization in New York City and they are funded by the city and through grants form the justice department. The organization was recently involved in the production of the "HANDS UP" rap video that calls for the killing of police officers in retaliation for recent events. When asked about their involvement they at first lied about knowing the context of the video, but it is now known that they knew more than they led on. Free speech is a right we all share, but the endorsement of killing cops should not be funded by taxpayers.
