Certain Republicans believe the government should recklessly be shut down in the ongoing budget/deficit/debt ceiling debate. If so, then lets turn off the federal spigot in those districts first. Perhaps the voters represented by these elected officials will talk some sense into their heads!
Maybe don't stop grandma's retirement check, but apply the painful shut downs in these districts first.
Congress needs to grow up, pay its bills, and find middle ground to reducing spending. It does not need to crash the economy, ruin the credit of the USA, or wreck the nerves of the citizens, voters will remember...
