Shut Down Guantanamo Bay

In 2004, the International Committee of the Red Cross inspected Guantanamo Bay. In a report, they concluded that the U.S. was in fault of "humiliating acts, solitary confinement, temperature extremes, and use of forced positions" against prisoners. Soldiers at Guantanamo bay have been accused of anything from giving beatings to go so far as to flush Qur'ans down the toilet. Many inmates have been found innocent in the past, and some inmates haven't even been to trial! This madness must end now, it is a complete contradiction to our constitution. If we use these inhumane tactics to win the "war on terror", we may very well will lose our integrity, our title as a free nation, and our honor. President Obama, I beg you to uphold your promise and shut down Guantanamo Bay.
