Shut down Petition.whitehouse.gov.

The purpose of this petition to shut down petition.whitehouse.gov, because of the contents that it is displaying. Everyone has the right to freedom of speech and petition, but that does not mean that the government must, or should be providing this platform they have created. People are still allowed to send the government there ideas and concerns through their representatives, whose contact information is public and easy to find. The manner of which most people use this platform is absurd, and is overall not reflecting the wants and needs of U.S. citizens. It just does not have to be displayed and seen on a government published site. An example of the many misused petitions on this website are listed below.
