Shut down the public school system and replace it with a voucher system. Many public schools have little to no competition. This lowers the morale to make their schools better. If we give money directly to the parents (in the form of vouchers) and we get rid of public schools, more private schools would begin opening and the schools would compete for the vouchers from parents by making their schools better. This allows more choice for our parents as well for better education for our youth.
