The San Antonio Zoo has horrible living conditions for its animals, primarily elephants and rhinos. These wild animals deserve to be just that, wild. Enclosures are far too small for many of these animals and lack features that mimic their natural habitats. Many animals that typically live in packs are left in solitary confinement. In addition water contains E. Coli and many animals live less than a few years at the zoo because of the horrible conditions.
