Shut down Sea-world due to animal cruelty

Created by R.W. on May 14, 2014

The average lifespan of orcas in the wild is 40-50 years but one named granny was found at 103 years old. the average lifespan of orcas kept in captivity at sea-world is only 4.5 years. whales in the wild swim up to 100 mils per day. The orcas at sea world are shoved into small tanks and barley swim at all. Also at sea-world they take the orcas babies away from their mothers too soon; causing a great amount of emotional stress and physical pain.

SeaWorld and marine parks profit off keeping orcas and other marine animals in captivity -- despite evidence that captivity not only induces unnatural behaviors in whales, but also endangers trainers. Join us in pledging never to visit SeaWorld or other marine parks until they empty their orca tanks
