Media has become two-faced. Trying to stop bullying on one side and on the other side are bullying public figures. Trying to use the excuse of Freedom of Press to allow the complete destruction of a person's reputation and good name. Gossip websites and news distract people from much more important issues, as well as allowing people to grow hatred for others they have not met in person. Cyber bullying is frowned upon by most people, yet those same people spread the lies and hate of famous figures in society. Behind that big name is a human being, and no human deserves to be torn apart everyday by the billions of people around the world. Gossip sites that frequently slander should be shut down, and rules put in place to respect the privacy and lives of all people.
