Over the past several decades the USPS has devolved into an entirely useless service staffed by inept and incompetent people who have horrible work ethic and absolutely no desire to do their jobs.
The services they charge for are rarely ever provided as-described, they refuse to issue refunds for poor service, their supervisory structure offers no accountability for rude or poor workers, and the entire service reflects poorly on our government in general. They do not deserve to be kept alive artificially with our tax money.
Any funding that they are currently lucky to get should be removed immediately, their services should be closed down, and the support they were given should instead be provided to FedEX and/or UPS; these two companies actually function like real businesses.
