While a wonderful concept, the "We The People" petition site has not only failed to achieve ANY goal stated in ANY of the petitions, but it has given rise to a new and increasing resentment against an increasingly out-of-touch government, due to the increasing public perception that all answers thus far have been entirely dismissive of the topic at hand.
Put simply, the government either does not or can not take this seriously, and is attempting to employ smoke and mirrors to convince the American people that their opinion actually makes a difference, while simultaneously ignoring that opinion. Please end "We The People" and stop giving false hope to the average citizen.
