It is clear that most petitions on the We the People website have no understanding of the Constitution, the powers of the President, where the phrase "We the people" comes from, or law in general.
The combined stupidity of our great nation, and the incredibly little brain power it requires to operate a computer, has proven that it is time to end the stream of poorly written public outcry.
In closing the We the People website, no longer would lower level staff at the White House have to concern themselves with petitions about the Westboro Baptist Church (who are fully protected under the 1st Amendment), issues applying to foreign governments (this is the USA, not the Netherlands, we can't help you; that's like ordering an Awesome Blossom at an Applebees), and "Recount the Election!"
