The national debt clock is the machine that displays our national debt using multiple financial sources. This requires a large amount of sophisticated equipment and a large amount of electricity. The clock costs around four billion dollars a day to operate. The clock generates one trillion in expenses in less than a year. If we shut it off, we could save trillions and get out of debt.
