SIBLINGS RIGHTS DESERVE CONSTITUTIONAL PROTECTION, AND SHOULD BE ACKNOWLEDGED

Created by J.K. on August 12, 2016

Siblings are very often separated by adult issues. Having no fault whatsoever but instead being punished.
Children should be heard, and their rights should be acknowledged. Why should a bitter parent decide that the bond between siblings is invalid. It is the parents choice to separate, not the child.
I would like to see a law passed giving children the permission to visit with their sibling, even in a controlled environment.
" The Supreme Court should recognize that
the Constitution protects sibling relationships under the Fourteenth
Amendment's Due Process Clause and the First Amendment's guarantee
of freedom of association.
Young brothers and sisters need each other's strengths and association
in their everyday and often common experiences, and to
separate them, unnecessarily
