The FDA needs to create stricter laws for the production of gluten-free foods. No gluten should be allowed to pass production if the company is going to market their products as gluten-free.
Companies also need to label products that have gluten in them as having gluten, and not just wheat or one of the other lesser known grains. This includes promoting a product as gluten-free on the front of the package, and saying it may contain gluten on the back in small print. If there is any possibility of the product containing gluten, companies shouldn't be aloud to market them as such.
Those that have a gluten sensitivity need to cut gluten from their lifestyle completely, and can get sick if given gluten. To prevent this from happening, food products need to be labeled correctly.
