Sickle cell is a real disease my 3 yr old suffers from it and Is admitted to the hospital maybe 2 to 3 times a month

I just hope they find a cure or acknowledge it like they do cancer I work in a hospital pediatric icu and I see more sicklers then cancer patients which my son is suffering from right now sickle cell
