We have a holiday for almost every person in the world, whether they be a veteran, a mother, or a lover. However, the United Stated government has yet to sign into effect a national holiday celebrating and acknowledging our everyday heroes, including police, firefighters, EMTs, and prison security guards These men and women spend countless hours saving the lives of others,often putting their lives on the line to do so. It's about time we begin to appreciate the unsung heroes of our country.
